As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Articles sent to the editor of Teosofi: Jurnal Tasawuf dan Pemikiran Islam must follow the technical provisions as:

1. Articles are written conceptual or results of the study of Sufism, Tariqah, Islamic Philosophy, Islamic Thought, Sufi Tafsir, Sufi Hadis, and Sufi Fiqh.

2. The article is the work authentic and has not been published in the journal (scientific periodical) else.

3. Articles are written in English or Arabic languages with a space of 1.5 cm on A4 paper, 20-25 pages long article, and sent in Open Journal System Teosofi: Jurnal Tasawuf dan Pemikiran Islam. Articles submitted no later than two months before the journal published.

4. The abstract in Indonesian and English up to 200 words; on each abstract is followed by keywords

5. Name the author of the article (with no academic degree, position or rank) shall be accompanied by correspondence address, email address and or phone number, office or mobile phone.

6. In a matter of bibliographical style, TEOSOFI: Jurnal Tasawuf dan Pemikiran Islam follows the Turabian style.
